After yesterday’s thaw, the snow is holding up very well and the day looks set to be a good one to come and enjoy it. And the good news after this thaw is that the forecast between Saturday evening and Sunday is for snow. Due to yesterday’s freeze-thaw cycle, which softened the surfaces for excellent skiing, the temperature dropped slightly during the night and again this morning, so the surfaces are still wet or sticky in places but have mostly firmed up and hardened.
