Durrnberg in Austria (in the Salzburg region) is a tiny ski resort with just one ski lift but it does boast a very impressive 800 metres (2624 feet) of vertical descent. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Durrnberg. The nearest airport is at Salzburg. We have information that there is one lift at Durrnberg but comments to will add to our notes are welcome.

Lived in Salzburg winter of 07/08. This place is the local hill for Hallein, just ten k's from Salzburg. Great for a two hour session after early knock off on Friday afternoon. Free bus from Hallein bhf too so a piece of cake to reach. Anything more than a few hours and the choice of runs is limited, but for what it is it's great.
