Andalo in Italy (in the Trentino-Alto Adige region) is a large resort with 19 lifts (16 chair lifts, 1 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1083 metres (3553 feet) of vertical descent. Andalo has 31 pistes with a total length of 50km kilometers (19 miles). Andalo is best suited to advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. There are 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) of cross country ski trails at Andalo. The majority of the pistes at Andalo are covered by snowmaking. The closest airport is at Verona but the transfer time is 1.5 hours. The nearest train station to Andalo is at Mezzocorona. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Andalo.

Just returned from Andalo yesterday.

I have to agree with another reviewer 100 %.
Nice resort.
Good snow. Lots of families. Very good food.
Good prices, nice people.
Not very many English speaking tourists. The staff spoke English well enough..
Lots of hotels. I stayed 5 km north in Molvado and 5 km south of Fai Paganella.
Hotels were great and great food. Very reasonable prices.
