Achenkirch am Achensee, in Austria (in the Tirol region), is a medium sized ski resort with 10 ski lifts that offers skiers an impressive 830 metres (2723 feet) of vertical descent. Achenkirch am Achensee has 7 pistes with a total length of 25 kilometers (16 miles). This is a great resort, all the ski runs end up at one point, so the kids can go skiing and they can't get lost. there's a reasonable variety of runs, from easy blues to a really good black. Half of the guests here come for the langlaufing, some 200+ km of prepared tracks. In fact we think that it's so good that we now live here
