Podobovets is a collectors resort. Access is via a 2km horse-drawn sleigh ride from Podobovets village, which is itself, 11km south of the Volovets train station on the Kiev-Uzhhorod train line. No hotels here at Podobovets, just basic lodgings in people's homes. Skiing is very limited by Alpine standards. Apart from the single ungroomed piste here, there is another lift at the nearby Zatyshok hotel accessing two quieter but slightly shorter trails and the up and coming resort of Pylypets is only 2km walk/sleigh ride from the centre of Podobovets (7km by taxi). Podobovets offers night skiing.
