Just back from a fine weeks skiing in Passo Tonale. The weather threw everything at us: sunshine cloud, snow, sleet, rain, wind. So spent a few days at Pontede Legno, which has some fantastic red piste skiing. When the sun shines the slopes opposite the resort are really well kept and stay clean most of the day due to its elevation. Stayed at the Grand Paradiso with Crystal. Lovely hotel with good helpful staff and a spa to unwind in after apres. The Crystal reps were really helpful all week and always in the hotel to help out especially when one of our party ended up on crutches. All in all, a great resort for intermediate skiers who don’t want anything too steep apart from the black off Presena and a snow sure option for late season.
