Owani Onsen in Japan (located in the Aomori prefecture) is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts that offers skiers an impressive 609 metres (1998 feet) of vertical descent. Owani Onsen has 220 acres of terrain over 20 pistes. Owani Onsen is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for both expert and intermediates. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Owani Onsen. For snowboarders, there is a half pipe. The nearest airport is at Aomori and the nearest train station to Owani Onsen is at Owani onsen.

This resort is great. A medium sized local resort that is a lot of fun. It has several runs and varied terrain.
If you are in the area in winter you should ski here - the Onsen is also nice.
