Holimont Ski Area in the United States (New York State) is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts (6 chair lifts, 2 surface lifts) but it only has 213 metres (699 feet) of vertical descent. Holimont Ski Area is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 8 kilometers (5.0 miles) of cross country ski trails at Holimont Ski Area. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. All of the trails at Holimont Ski Area are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at New York.
