Eischoll in Switzerland (in the Valais region) is a very small ski resort with just three ski lifts (1 chair lift, 2 surface lifts) but it does boast a very impressive 929 metres (3048 feet) of vertical descent. Eischoll has 5 pistes with a total length of 15 kilometers (9 miles). Eischoll is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is a also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too. There are 12 kilometers (8 miles) of cross country ski trails at Eischoll. The nearest airport is at Geneva/Sion and the nearest train station to Eischoll is at Sierre.

Superb for the family, or individual skiing enthusiast. Mainly due to the quality of the pistes and no queues or large crowds. Busy enough for a good time but quiet enough to never wait for a lift or look over your shoulder when skiing. A little gem!
