The progression onto green and blue runs is easy and there are plenty of well connected pistes throughout the resort. The new Roche de Mio gondola provides a convenient way to access these beginner-friendly slopes, making it easy for newcomers to enjoy their skiing experience.
What is the skiing like in La Plagne Centre for intermediate?
Intermediate skiers will love the abundance of blue pistes in La Plagne and it is one of the few resorts where you can ski around the entire area, solely on blue slopes. The Levasset blue is a very popular intermediate piste that starts at the top of the Roche de Mio gondola before crossing into the Champagny-en-Vanoise region with breathtaking scenery along the way.
What is the skiing like in La Plagne Centre for experts?
While La Plagne may not be the most challenging, it still offers excitement for expert skiers. There are some great long red pistes accessed by the Inverness chair lift and Bellcôte gondola. For adventure seekers, off-piste areas like the Bellecôte glacier and La Face Nord provide challenging descents and stunning scenery.
